We offer the following services to keep your pets healthy:

Boarding

We offer overnight and day boarding services in a clean and safe environment. We provide indoor temperature controlled kennels and play areas. For the safety of all pets in our charge, we require that pets be up-to-date with their vaccinations prior to boarding with us.

If your pet has special needs or health issues, we will gladly provide special attention during his stay. This includes medication requirements and dietary needs. If additional services are desired, we ask that you request them when creating your reservation. We make every effort to make your pet’s stay with us safe and relaxing.

Animals requiring emergency veterinary attention during their boarding stay will be treated at the owner’s expense. We recommend that you provide emergency contact information for yourself and a local friend or family member, should we need to reach you. We also recommend you bring some food to prevent making changes during boarding.

Dental Care

Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys and has the potential to seep into your pet’s bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.

In-House Laboratory Miami, FL

In-House Laboratory

We are very proud of our laboratory. We are able to perform many diagnostic tests quickly and efficiently in it. We can do many simple tests but are also able to offer some more complex ones, too! We are able to run heartworm tests, leukemia and FIV tests, and full blood work for those who are interested in it. There are also many other tests we offer our patients.

The best part of being able to run laboratory tests in our hospital is that we can diagnose your pets much sooner than if we had to send the blood work out to another laboratory. Whenever your pets are not feeling well, we can offer you results and a diagnosis in minutes instead of making you wait a day (or more) for the results.

Preventative Care Miami, FL

Preventative Care

Our team puts great emphasis on preventative care in order to help maintain your pet’s health and well-being. Preventative care includes parasite prevention, weight management, dental health, and early screening and detection. We recommend routine services and diagnostic testing aimed at preventing health complications and their associated costs.

Senior Pets

Older pets have a progressive decline in health and are more susceptible to age-related diseases. Detecting health changes early will increase treatment options and improve prognosis. We encourage pet parents to arrange for a general examination with a veterinarian every six months for large breeds that are older than six years of age, for medium breeds that are older than eight years of age, and for small breeds that are older than ten years of age.

Young Pets

Preventative measures for newborns involves a comprehensive physical exam, vaccine booster shots, a specially formulated diet, and parasite prevention. Behavior should also be addressed early to prevent behavior problems later on. New borns are still developing and will have weak immune systems which will make them more susceptible to diseases and chronic conditions. We recommend close monitoring of your pet’s health during the first year due to the rapid aging that takes place during this time.
